About Joan

For more than 30 years, my work has been guided by a simple belief: when we move well, breathe deeply and spend time in nature, we feel better.

Throughout my journey, I have explored different ways of helping people reconnect with their bodies—through massage, yoga, skiing, hiking and mindful movement. Although these may seem like different activities, they all share the same purpose: improving wellbeing through awareness, movement and human connection.

I began practising massage in Barcelona in 1988 and later trained with osteopath Jean Louis Jacket and Thai massage teacher Pichest Boonthumme in Thailand. In 1998, I became a fully qualified ISIA ski instructor, and since then I have taught in the mountains of Switzerland. My yoga studies with A.G. Mohan, a direct student of T. Krishnamacharya, further deepened my understanding of movement, breath and the relationship between body and mind.

Today, I live and work in Gstaad, where I offer massage therapy, Somatic Hatha Yoga, private ski instruction and guided hiking experiences. Every session is personal, adapted to your needs and shaped by decades of experience working with people from around the world.

I look forward to welcoming you to the mountains and sharing practices that help you move with greater ease, recover more deeply and enjoy life with presence.
